The sun is shining, the birds are chirping and the champagne is flowing. Set inside the luscious green grounds of the picturesque Werribee Mansion, So Frenchy So Chic on the 13th of January is a date worth clearing the calendar for.
Qual-est So Frenchy So Chic?
SFSC is a single-day festival paying homage to all things French. From the music and live acts to the food and the atmosphere. Everything. It’s for those who embrace different cultures; and those who’d like to try something a little different, while having immense fun in the sun. SFSC has grown rapidly since their inauguration 7 years ago, expanding both into Sydney and Adelaide. A testament to the quality of the festival!
La Musique
This coming year casts an all-female lineup. A bold move but one we can appreciate. Live acts are flown right from the motherland (France), with big names like Camille, Yelle and Clara Luciani. Don’t worry if you haven’t heard of them, isn’t that what experiencing new things is all about?
L’atmosphere
SFSC is an all-ages festival where kids 12 and under attend free. But don’t let that throw you off. It’s full of fun, whether you’re keen on chilling on the grass with your pre-purchased picnic hampers, or dancing in the bustling moshpit; everyone from all ages will enjoy themselves, we can guarantee.
Au Menu
What is a French festival without delicious French food? SFSC has this covered. You can either purchase a picnic, as previously mentioned or head to the numerous food trucks serving proper French foods, like raclette, crepes, mussels and more.
So whether if you’re feeling tres chic, or wanting to try something new and different, SFSC is a festival that’s guaranteed to impress. Grab your tickets here.
