The June/ July break is approaching, you’ve been waiting for this all year. A return ticket to London, then a short flight to the Mediterranean sea, whether it’s Positano or Mallorca.

It’s 30+ degrees daily, one minute you’re by the beach and the other you’re exploring the surrounding city. You’ve organised the hard part, but you’ll need some outfits and accessories to match. We’ve compiled a list of our favourite travel-friendly items that add convenience without compromising on style.

Linen. Linen everything.

Seriously, you’d be surprised how many people cant tell the difference between cotton and linen. For those not in the know, or too embarrassed to ask, check out this blog post here.

Shirts: Vanacore Napoli for some unparalleled made-to-measure shirts. We also love Luca Faloni and Venroy.

Pants: We’ve got some serious vibe on these Irish linen pants by Chad Prom. With a drawstring and slouchy cut- either dress them up or dress them down, regardless, you’ve got some serious style.

Water sneakers.

Whether you’re lounging by the pool or soaking in the sun on the foreshore, you’ll want a pair of nice (and respectable) water shoes from Orlebar Brown. Prior to these, there were no such things as ”cool” water shoes. Just ask your diving mate. Now, punters couldn’t tell the difference.

White sneakers.

On the topic of sneakers, you’d be lost without a pair of good quality white sneakers in Europe. Our favourites are Common Projects Achilles low & Lanvin.

Sunglasses.

A good pair of sunglasses is one thing every man should own. Ditch the RayBans and invest in a more unique pair of Italian shades. Right now we’re digging TBD eyewear.

Swim shorts.

Please, no more Billabong or Quicksilver shorts. Invest in a pair of quality swim shorts which you can wear daily while abroad. Vilebrequin is a household name, but we’ve found some if the more recent designs to be, well, iffy. For a more affordable option, check out Hartford.

Towell.

A good terry-towel goes a long way. Lightweight and highly absorbent. Perfect for drying off after a dip in the sea. We love these from Soho House.

Beach bat & ball.

Sometimes the simplest things bring the most joy. You’ll love these stylish battons from Frescobol Carioca.

Tote-bag.

A travel staple. Tote-bags like these are perfect for carrying all the above in a simple-chic way.
