MR PORTER, the online destination for men’s style, has yet again appeased the masses with a truly exciting collaboration with the game-changing streetwear label, Off-White.

Launching an exclusive capsule collection available only at MR PORTER, the 44-piece capsule is titled “Modern Office”, exemplifying a traditional and modern crossover of sportswear-inspired staples, designed to reflect how the new generation of workers dress for their workplaces.

Helmed by the founder of Off White, Virgil Abloh (also Artistic Director at Louis Vuitton), the exclusive capsule collection has been created with Off-White’s leading maxim and interprets the collection’s overarching themes of flux, evolution and modernity into a synergy of fabric: think wool, felt, cotton and heavy canvas, juxtaposed with muted and tonal colours, clean and distressed finishings and graphic and non-graphic prints.

On the uniqueness of the collection, Abloh describes the collection to harmonise classic business attire with streetwear.

“The Modern Office” collection is its own special entity that the youth and older generations can both understand,” says Abloh.

“Modern Office was developed and inspired by the besuited businessman and that young skater hanging out in the park on the Lower East Side; those two worlds gracefully colliding into one.”

The collection is comprised of 20 ready-to-wear pieces, 18 accessories and 6 pairs of footwear. Some of the highlights from the capsule include the work trench linen coat with tonal embroidered arrow logo; wide-leg linen trousers with tonal arrow logo; “Modern Office” logo print jersey T-shirt; and low-top 3.0 leather sneakers. Accessorise with the “Class of 2013” iPhone X cover.

Coinciding with this exciting collaboration will be a leading global marketing and content campaign to launch the exclusive capsule; done in true MR PORTER style.

The MR PORTER x Off-White collection is unique as it’s the largest capsule ever produced with a retailer to date. It’s been designed from the ground up with the introduction of new fabrics, silhouettes, colour palettes, and exclusive prints that are not seen in the seasonal lines from Off-White,” says George Archer, Buyer at MR PORTER.

“The collection is also designed with the MR PORTER customer in mind. We wanted to have the capsule as a point of difference to what is offered in the strong SS19 pre and runway collections, whilst still keeping it exclusive; a key aspect to the MR PORTER brand.”

On working with MR PORTER, Abloh says that it was an exciting and incredible opportunity to work with the top online retail destination for men.

“Working with the MR PORTER team was incredible. MR PORTER provides so much more for the consumer – from style advice, to The MR PORTER Post, and weekly online magazine, The Journal. It’s not just a destination to buy clothes, but rather a creative experience making everything much more personal.”

The Mr Porter x Off-White collaboration will be available online at MR PORTER from January 21.
