It’s no secret that here at Man of Style, we like to travel. Whether it’s discovering the
hidden gems of Paris, exploring the Pitti Uomo trade fair, or getting knee deep in Berlins nightlife; we tend to be on the road more often than not.

Travelling so much may sound like a dream come true, but there are definite downsides: no regular routine, constantly scavenging for wifi, and not to mention that little 24-hour plus commute from Australia to the rest of the world; what a doozy!

It wasn’t until we discovered Priority Pass – the world’s largest independent lounge membership program – that travelling not only became more manageable, but more enjoyable, also.

With access to over 1,200 lounges in over 140 countries worldwide, Priority Pass is a real game changer for those constantly in the air.

Here are some of our favourite perks of the unique membership that make the long haul commute from Australia all the more bearable.

Sydney Australia Airport, GMT+10HRS

We all know that airport food, in general, is about as far from our favourite Melbourne Brunch spots as we can usually get; usually being the keyword. Enter Mach2, the best airport breakfast spot this side of customs.

Boasting a menu fit to rival some of Sydney’s finest brunch establishments, it’s safe to say that this is our definite go-to at Sydney international airport.

After polishing off a classic big breakfast and OJ combination, we enjoyed our last Australian barista-made coffee before heading through to customs.  Not a bad way to start the 8-hour transit to Singapore if you ask us.

Singapore Changi Airport – Terminal 1 GMT+7HRS

After 17 hours into our 35-hour transit, arriving at Singapore’s Changi Airport was a pleasant one at that. Making it to the Plaza Premium was a breeze thanks to the digital membership card in the Priority Pass app, and after a quick look around, we loaded up on some freshly made sushi and noodles and a complimentary Riesling (of course).

Not long after finishing our food, we checked out the rest of the venue which included showers, multiple massage rooms, and sleep pods; this place had it all.

After a quick 30 minutes of catching up on emails (the speedy wifi was definitely a win), we headed off for the third leg of our journey.

Dubai International Airport– Terminal 3 GMT +3HRS

After two eight hour flights, navigating our way to an airport lounge in the B terminal at Dubai International would usually be a recipe for disaster. Luckily for us, the latest update on the Priority Pass app, the wayfinding feature, turned out to be a lifesaver.

Within 15-minutes of arriving, we were sitting comfortably in the lounge awaiting our turn on the massage chairs–talk about luxury living. With two and a half hours to go until our next flight, it seemed like the perfect time to freshen up and finally have that long-awaited shower.

Feeling refreshed and ready for the final leg of our trip, we celebrated with a substantial middle-eastern breakfast spread before our final destination.

Priority Pass DubaiHonestly, if it weren’t for the lounge access thanks to our Priority Pass membership, our overseas adventures wouldn’t have been anywhere near as pleasant as it was. If you’re interested in hearing more about the program and its benefits, check out Priority Pass.
