Tod's: the Art of Leather

Tod’s, the luxury Italian fashion house hand-crafting premium leather shoes and accessories since 1920, has officially opened its long-awaited Melbourne boutique in the heart of Chadstone’s luxury retailer precinct; a fitting storefront for the purveyors of premium Italian leather goods.

Celebrating the Art of Leather – a mantra at the core of the brand’s identity – guests were treated to an intimate cocktail setting were they were able to be immersed in the brand’s unique Italian craftsmanship.

To celebrate the special occasion, an official Tod’s Artisan from Milan was on hand to demonstrate how the brand’s iconic ‘Gommino’ loafers and ‘D-Styling’ bags are made.

The Artisan pop-up will continue through until the 5th of May, with a special offering of a hot stamp customisation on selected newly purchased items exclusive to Chadstone customers only.

The Store

When you enter the new Tod’s boutique store, it’s evident the level of thought and detail that has gone into creating a unique space for Tod’s customers and passerby alike.

The décor is linear, contemporary and elegant, keeping in line with the brand’s global aesthetic. Silver and taupe saddle-stitched leather panelled steel vitrines are featured throughout the store, alongside a high-gloss ceiling with travertine marble floors that detail a luxurious finish. evoke a luxury finish.

The light-filled space, housing some of Tod’s most notable products, represents the new concept for Tod’s stores worldwide. Reflective is a commitment to exceptional detail and quality in all of its products.
